CarerSpace

Discover CarerSpace – Your online portal for better support

Looking after someone you care about is rewarding, but it can also be challenging. That’s why Lanarkshire Carers created CarerSpace – an easy-to-use online portal designed to help carers feel better supported, connected, and empowered.

Why CarerSpace?

Because good conversations change lives. They help you focus on what matters most, set personal goals, and access the right support when you need it.

What you’ll find on CarerSpace:

  • Carer Conversation Toolkit – Created by carers for carers, the toolkit helps you explore different aspects of your life and wellbeing. Share your responses with anyone involved in your support to help them understand what truly matters to you. This feature is available to all carers living in Lanarkshire. You don’t need to be known to Lanarkshire Carers. Once you’ve completed the toolkit, you can download your responses to share with anyone you choose, and revisit it anytime to make updates.
  • Adult Carer Support Plan – View, update, and share your Adult Carer Support Plan anytime, ensuring it always reflects your needs. This feature is available to carers known to Lanarkshire Carers once your conversation has progressed to the stage where a plan can be created. Your plan will detail all aspects of your caring role, the impacts on you, the outcomes you want to achieve, and the steps to reach those goals.
  • Messaging & Document Sharing – For carers already connected with Lanarkshire Carers, CarerSpace makes communication simple and secure. You can message a Carer Support Worker directly, ask questions, receive useful information, and store or share documents related to your caring role - all in one place.

Who can use CarerSpace?

Any carer living in Lanarkshire can use CarerSpace! You don’t need to be known to Lanarkshire Carers to access the toolkit. Use it for yourself and share your responses with anyone involved in your support.

Some features, such as Adult Carer Support Plans, Messaging, and Document Sharing, are available only to carers already connected with Lanarkshire Carers. If you’re not a member of Lanarkshire Carers, you can easily join through the portal at any time.
